The Portsmouth Outdoor Pool on Peirce Island will be closed today, July 4, due to apparent acts of vandalism last night.  The Police Department is investigating. The City expects to be able to reopen the pool for Tuesday use.

The City has received calls about representatives from Aqualite US in Tyngsborough MA who are soliciting business throughout Portsmouth, making false claims that the City’s water does not meet regulatory standards, offering to collect water samples and claiming to be "from the water company.  They are not.
