Sagamore Ave. Sewer Extension Project Work Session July 28, Info Meeting Aug 11

The City Council has scheduled a Work Session for the Sagamore Avenue Sewer Extension Project for Tuesday, July 28 at 6:30 pm via Zoom. There will be an opportunity for public comment and questions. Those who wish to join the meeting via Zoom are required to register in advance. Diverse Ability Book Lists

In recognition of Disability Pride Month and the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we have created lists of titles in our collection that feature characters with a range of diverse abilities. People with disabilities, especially people of color with disabilities, are severely underrepresented in literature. These titles are a great start towards raising awareness and empathy for what is often an invisible population.
