PROJECT UPDATE

Work is complete for the Bartlett Street project for the season except for installation of the bridge rail at the Hodgdon Brook culvert. The installation is tentatively scheduled for the week of December 16, 2024. 

Work will resume in the Spring of 2025 to place the final pavement, roadway striping, raised crosswalk at Pine Street, raised intersection at Thornton Street, touch up the loam and re-seed. 

The Morning Street scope of work is currently on HOLD and will be reevaluated in the Spring.

This project includes the reconstruction of underground public utilities (water, sewer, drainage) on Bartlett Street from Hodgdon Brook to Dennett Street, and Thornton Street from Woodbury Avenue to Bartlett Street. This will also include connections to existing utilities on side streets of Morning Street, Clinton Street, Pine Street, Meredith Way and Woodbury Ave. The project also consists of reconstructing the streetscape, including curbing, sidewalks, reconstructing the roadway and traffic calming measures.
